Alltid händer det något ufomässigt i något hörn av världen. Den som vill läsa ufonyheter kan göra det varje dag i någon tidning på nätet. Härom dagen meddelade skvallertidningen The Sun att man tar över det nu nedlagda ufokontoret som brittiska försvaret drev. Det är givetvis en genial idé av en tidning som ofta har ufo på sin förstasida. Nu lär den få in ännu flera observationer och udda berättelser att vränga till och förvanska till oigenkännlighet.

I veckan har Kanada fått sin beskärda del av ufofenomen då en kvinna i Harbour Mill på Newfoundland filmade ett fenomen som inte bara lyste utan också såg ut att ha en missil framför sig. Jag bloggade om detta på DN.se i dag. Alla verkar tro att det rörde sig om tre, för så många var det, franska missiler som skjutits upp från en ö. Men för oss som har hållit på med ufo i några år så tyder allt på att det var tre flygplan på hög höjd. Mina argument för detta hittar ni på min DN.se-blogg.

Det var en trevlig dag på jobbet där jag skrev skrev om allt från Churchills cigarrfimp som såldes på auktion för 52.000 kronor och gastankarna som råkade spränga sin bil i luften i Stockholm i går. Och så hämtade vi pizza från La Barca. Inte dumt.

Hemma blev det thaigryta som jag hjälpte Anneli med, den blev stark och riktigt god. Så mycket mer blev det inte gjort, klistrade in lite urklipp och drack en Abbott Ale. Sedan blev det soffan och lite surfande på den bärbara.

Här kommer mina argument för att det rör sig om flygplan på engelska:

There are several things that points to an air craft explanation.

1. The fact that the vapour trails are illuminated by the Sun indicates 
that the objects are high up in the air which rules out model rockets.
2. The fact that three of them were seen simultanously and flying in 
different directions indicates that this was three seperate objects; not 
sent from one source. Shooting missiles are not something you do in 
different directions since they all must be accounted for when impacted.
3. The speed of the objects (seen at least for 5 maybe 15 minutes) shows 
that they were very high up in tha air.
4. Other unnamed wittnesses, quoted in a news report on CTV, have seen the 
objects from a different town. They saw "flashes of light" on the sides of 
the objects. Well, could be the lights on an a/c.
5. Pictures much like the Harbour Mill pictures were taken in Grand Bank 
in October 2009 (shown on CTV) when no missiles were launched but a/c 
surely was flying over the area. 
6. And most important: "This is a main airway for passing transatlantic 
passengers air craft", says MP Gerry Byrne on CTV.

So what about the radar not showing anything? Well, I took the time to 
once again watch the interview with senator George Baker. Baker talks 
about "all of these sightings in Newfoundland" which as I understands it 
is a gross exaggeration. Even though reports in the media seems to state 
that many people did see the "missiles" very few people (three as far as I 
now) have been named doing so. And all of them were standing together. 
Another one surfaced later from a different location.

If there really was something out of the ordinary, at that height, many 
more would have come forth to tell about it.

Radar? I can not find any comments regarding the objects being seen or not 
being seen on radar in any of the five TV-reports I have seen on CTV . If 
someone knows of such a comment, please send a link or a quote.

MP Byrne discussed the Gander radar and said something indicating that the 
radar operators there should have seen the missiles if there were any. 
Since they did not it may very well be that all they saw was ordinary a/c.

We have so many observations like this from Sweden. They are nearly always 
made in January when the Sun is low and the observer is looking towards 
the setting Sun in SSW.
